Model production

The models that we produce, maintain and, if necessary, repair are made of wood, plastic and aluminum.

In our model section, we produce all the models that we work with, for the entire range of castings from 0.5 kg. to 2000.0 kg. They are produced according to the exact specifications of our customers (two-dimensional and three-dimensional drawings) or according to samples.

We use only high-quality materials such as laminated wood from specially developed boards, a special brand of aluminum and plastic, so we also guarantee optimal durability of our models. We make them both by milling on CNC machines and on 3D printers, in some cases manually. We guarantee maximum precision and accuracy of implementation.

Milling of sand molds. (No Pattern Technology) .

Due to the need to produce single pieces of castings in very short terms, the company invested in a robotic system for producing sand molds. This technology, which we have mastered, is very useful for our clients who need prototypes. The more voluminous and expensive the model equipment that needs to be produced using a standard method, the more profitable this service is for the client.

Molding section

In the molding section we use various processes. We can produce both single and large series in short terms.

Our modern machinery meets the highest requirements for the castings we produce.

We have semi-automatic and fully automatic molding lines and machines.

We also have several manual sections where our experienced and competent employees work.

Thanks to this flexibility, we can fulfill customer orders quickly and precisely, both in small and large series.

Our employees in the molding shop, master various techniques and regularly undergo additional training to maintain their skills. Here, special attention is paid to quality performance.

The molding technologies that we have and provide great flexibility are the following:

– Semi-automatic greensand molding line, with size of the boxes 600x900mm and the height of each of the two half-molds: 200mm. The productivity is up to 80 molds per work shift, with a maximum weight of the casting-100 kg.

– Mechanized section, with jolt squeeze molding machines, with a single weight of the casting up to 40 kg. and productivity up to 80 molds per shift.

– Double arm screw mixer working with furan resin that has a low nitrogen content, with which molds for castings from 0.5 kg. to 2000 kg are made.

– Fully automatic molding center for the production of cores and molds, working according to the “cold box-amine process” methods and a process based on synthetic-phenolic resin with a hardener-CO2 (carbon dioxide), as the molds that are produced can be flask and flaskless. Flaskless molds can have a vertical or horizontal dividing surface. These molds are for castings from 0.5 to 200 kg.

– In addition, we also practice manual molding with sand-bentonite mixtures for maximum flexibility and fulfillment of individual customer requirements, especially when producing single pieces and small series.

– The company has a centrifugal casting section, with which it meets the needs of our customers. Here there are casting machines with a horizontal and vertical axis of rotation and with them we mainly produce bronze bushings.

Melting section

The melting section has three induction melting furnaces and capacity: 2 pieces of 630 kg. and 1 piece of 1500 kg. The maximum weight of a single casting that we can produce is 2000 kg.

The alloys that our production covers are over 100 types and certainly meet the requirements of our customers. We mainly produce castings from the following alloys:

  • Cast steel
  • Tempered steels
  • Low alloy steels
  • High alloy steels
  • Manganese steels
  • Gray cast iron

In the process of work, we guarantee exceptional alloying accuracy, observing the strictest tolerances. Precise compliance with analytical specifications is a natural thing for us.

Casting cleaning

Customer-oriented production requires careful cleaning of all growths and burrs as well as smoothing to obtain correct and accurate casting shapes. If necessary, cutting of riser and pouring system.

In the cleaning section there are several shot blasting machines, hook type and drum-belt. There are several workplaces for manual cleaning, as well as two workstations for automatic cleaning of castings.

For greater precision of execution, the company has implemented a special band sawing machine for cutting of risers  and sprues in the production cycle.

Heat treatment

Adjustment of mechanical properties according to customer specifications.

Our company has gained many years of experience and has a lot of knowledge regarding heat treatment of steels.

We offer the following services:

– Quenching and tempering;

– Quenching;

– Normalizing;

– Tempering;

– Annealing to remove internal stress;

– Recrystallization;

We have several heat treatment furnaces equipped with modern control, as well as the necessary cooling methods, which allow us to adjust the mechanical properties of the castings precisely in accordance with the customer’s specifications. In this way, we can professionally optimize and increase the life and operation of the customer’s parts many times over.
